Leonard Lerner | Attorney at Law

Leonard Lerner

I founded my own firm in 1980 on the basis that I wanted to handle my clients and their cases in my own manner, on a case-by-case basis, instead of being part of a machine in a large firm. I have continuously kept this ideal while proudly representing my client’s interest through civil litigation in state and federal court in California and across the nation. My clientele covers all manner of clients, including individuals, small businesses, and multinational companies.

My vast legal experience extends to commercial litigation regarding auditable premium policies, prosecution of mechanics’ liens for contractors and material suppliers, and other commercial clients seeking assistance in managing their receivables, as well as workers’ compensation and liability subrogation.

My years of successful and varied practice allow me to effectively counsel clients across a wide range of business transactions and operations. My expertise with regard to business turnarounds, negotiating and restructuring debt, as well as devising future business plans allow clients to operate more efficiently.

Lerner & Weiss clients’ expectations and appreciation of my ability to provide experienced counsel involving the formation, purchase, sale, and dissolution of partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies, and limited liability partnerships.
