Landon Lerner has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation and has managed many cases from inception through jury verdict. He has represented some of the largest companies in the world in high-stakes litigation in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration and mediation.
Mr. Lerner also works with small businesses and entrepreneurs, helping them to avoid the pitfalls of a complex legal landscape. Many of Mr. Lerner’s clients include startup and technology companies, requiring Mr. Lerner to advise his clients on exciting and emerging issues in the law.
Mr. Lerner has experience in a broad array of practice areas, including First Amendment and defamation law, business formation and disputes, entertainment litigation and transactions, startups and technology, real estate litigation and transactions, and construction litigation and transactions.
Prior to joining Lerner & Weiss, Mr. Lerner was a senior litigation associate with Greenberg Traurig, LLP, an Am Law 100 firm with over 1,900 attorneys in 30 offices around the world.
Notable Representative Matters
Member of the trial team representing MGM Resorts International and CityCenter in the $400 million construction defect litigation concerning the Harmon Tower at the center of the Las Vegas Strip. The case was scheduled to last over a year and settled on the eve of trial after six weeks of jury selection.
First Chair in a successful trial before the Hon. Ernest Robles in the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court concerning a $12 million contract dispute arising from the fourth installment of the blockbuster Terminator film franchise.
Second Chair in a multi-million dollar confidential arbitration by a high-profile TV commentator against his former network.
Second Chair prevailing on all counts in a multi-day arbitration on behalf of musical artist Snoop Dogg.
Second Chair in a successful twenty million dollar two-week confidential arbitration regarding a highly successful franchise of reality television shows.

Mr. Lerner received his Juris Doctorate in 2009 from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles where he ranked in the top of his class. He received two CALI “Excellence for the Future” Awards while in attendance, achieving the highest grade in Constitutional Law and then again in Constitutional Criminal Procedure.
Mr. Lerner was a member of the Southwestern Law Review, was a Dean’s Merit Award Scholar, and served as a teaching assistant to the former Dean, Austen Parrish. Mr. Lerner also worked as a certified law student for a non-profit during his third year, gaining bench and jury trial experience. During his second year, Mr. Lerner worked full-time for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Prior to law school, Mr. Lerner received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College where he majored in Law and Society, and minored in Political Science.
